WHAT IS ADVENTURE RACING?




Adventure racing is typically a multidisciplinary team sport involving navigation over an unmarked wilderness course. The principal disciplines in adventure racing include orienteering, trekking, mountain biking, and paddling although races can incorporate climbing, abseiling, horse riding or any other discipline. Teams normally consist of 2 or 4 members, and are often of mixed gender.
THREE race distances

20 - 25 kmMini Adventure
Open to ages 10+, Duration 3 to 6 hours. The perfect introduction to adventure racing. Will include a schools challenge

60 - 75 KmA Dose of Adventure
Open to ages 16+, Duration 10 to 20 hours A one day course designed to challenge every adventurer

125 - 150 KmAdventure For The Brave
Open to ages 18+, Duration 15 to 30 hours Designed to test all your skills, ideal for preperation for expedition races
